Judith has a magnificent, transcendent spirit. For me, her spirit is illustrated by one of the world’s great literary periods—19th century Russian realism. There, society’s crazy people are the sane people (Gogol, Garshin, and Dostoevsky). And, I might add, Dostoevsky famously observed “Beauty will save the world.” Well, Judith’s lovely photos in this issue of her bi-weekly garden blog “Busy. And mad?” won’t save the world, but they sure are beautiful, particularly the first one.
All art is madness.
I would call it obsessed. In a good way.

Ronald, thanks for your most generous response.
Your madness is inspiring as I look out over my wee back yard. 😊
I'm falling in love with coleus and all its wonderful coloring.
Me too, and there are so very very many to choose from.
It seems you would be bereft if you could not be mad.
You may be on to something here!
Love this!
Thanks.
